Our Music Videos

I have had the opportunity to contribute to two music video productions as VFX Supervisor, each offering unique artistic and technical challenges.

The first, in 2018, was for Ho Ngoc Ha, one of Vietnam’s most prominent music artists. The second was for Swedish rapper Yung Lean on his 2025 music video Babyface Maniacs.

Both projects gave me the opportunity to supervise VFX directly on set, an experience that proved especially valuable and rewarding. Working closely with directors, production crews, and creative teams throughout the shoot allowed for stronger alignment between on-set execution and post-production goals.

Although developed in two very different cultural and production environments, both projects shared a similar creative approach and relied on comparable technical methodologies, highlighting the universal nature of visual storytelling and VFX problem-solving across markets.

Babyface Maniacs - Yung Lean - 2025

Artist / VFX Supervisor

This project was particularly engaging for our team, both artistically and technically, offering a refreshing departure from the more conventional VFX productions we typically handle.

One of the main challenges involved attaching and animating the arrows on the actor in a believable and interactive way, ensuring natural movement and convincing physical integration throughout the performance.

In parallel, we developed the dreamlike environment surrounding the character and carefully composited it with the original plate to create a seamless and immersive visual world.

While technically demanding, the project was especially rewarding for the team, as it allowed us to explore a more stylized and unconventional creative direction than our usual VFX work.

Live Beyond - Hồ Ngọc Hà - 2018

Artist / VFX Supervisor on set

This music video for renowned Vietnamese singer Hồ Ngọc Hà was the first major project I worked on after arriving in Vietnam. Having already been familiar with her work from France due to her popularity, it was a particularly exciting opportunity to contribute to one of her productions.

I had the chance to serve as VFX Supervisor on set, working closely with the director and production team to help shape the visual execution from shoot through post-production.

The project was creatively ambitious, dreamlike in tone, and highly inspiring to work on. Despite very tight deadlines and demanding creative expectations, the entire team was energized by the opportunity to contribute to a production of this scale and artistic ambition.
